A short checklist of clarifying questions, and where it has to assume something it says so on the line. Unit counts, removal, access, phasing — the things that actually move the number.

Questions
Is the data I load to Estimis confidential?
Yes. Your catalog, your standards, your drawings and your estimates belong to your firm and are visible only to your firm — every record is scoped to your company, and no other firm on Estimis can reach it. Nothing is pooled, shared or published.
Does Estimis train on users’ data?
No. Your data is never used to train a model — ours or anyone else’s. It is sent to the model provider to produce your estimate, and for nothing else. The only thing your prices and standards ever teach is your own next estimate.
What if we do not have a price catalog yet?
Forward supplier quotes to your catalog address and the prices are read out of the email and staged for your approval. Most firms start there rather than with an import.
How can prices be uploaded to our price catalog?
Three ways. Forward a supplier quote to your catalog’s own email address and the prices are read out of it. Import a price list — a PDF or a spreadsheet — and confirm what was read. Or type a line in by hand. The email and the import both stage their rows for your approval before anything is priced against them.
Can an estimate be modified once it has been generated?
Yes. Edit any line directly, or tell Estimis what to change — “add a budget for the structural work on the roof” — and it re-prices the change against the same catalog, the same standards and the same job history. Every change can be undone.
